The Cloud Duvet… Light, fluffy and lusciously soft. We have recreated the ‘down feather feeling’ without taking any birds out of the sky. Instead we chose bamboo – it’s the most naturally luxurious and sumptuous material available for snuggling up in.
Panda’s duvet filling was engineered for one reason – to make organic silky bamboo fibre as fluffy and luxurious as down feathers. The filling is a blend of 50% bamboo and 50% nano-microfibre™. That means it’s 100% hypoallergenic and has all of bamboo’s amazing natural properties. It’s easy to machine wash, dries naturally in half the time of regular duvets and quickly finds its original shape.
The Cloud’s cover is 100% bamboo finished with stylish black piping.
Bamboo is naturally thermo-regulating. Its fine fibres insulate in the winter, yet are breathable and cool in the summer. With Bavarian sewn-through pockets keeping the filling in place, there’ll be no more cold spots in the night. So no need to fight over the warm bits! The 50:50 blend of bamboo and our Nano-Microfibre™ disperses air, keeping the temperature consistently cosey.
If you are a wriggly sleeper, you’ll know how duvets always seem to bunch up and misbehave under the cover. Not anymore! We’ve sewn small corner loops onto our Cloud duvet, which can be attached to hidden straps on all Panda bedding. So now you can wriggle and snuggle as much as you like – and the cloud will stay put in its cover.
No birds were harmed in the making of this duvet
Panda does not use any down in the Cloud Duvet because taking feathers from ducks and geese can cause pain and distress. Indeed, no animals are harmed making any Panda product and our cloud duvets are no exception.
We make sure of our bamboo’s eco-credentials too by only sourcing from approved forests. And we do all we can to reduce the environmental impact at every stage of the product’s lifecycle, from forest to front door. We insist on the highest standards of social care for our people and the communities we operate in.
Our bamboo is grown in managed forests, meeting the highest social and environmental standards. It grows up to three feet a day, providing high yields per acre, saving land. It requires a third less water than cotton to thrive and doesn’t need pesticides, fertilisers or chemicals. It’s a wonder-plant with amazing natural properties:
